Can tatoos be used to cover scars?

I don't think so, the scar tissue is very thin and using a tattoo needle on it ill probably open it again. I have 3 but none of them cover a scar. Get in touch with you're local tattooist or maybe ask you're GP.
Depends what sort of scar, as they won't change the texture/feel of the skins, they just colour it.

It depends on what you mean by cover, and it also depends on how big the scar is and the damage to the skin where the scar is.
Tatoos can cover many things and from some of the ones I have seen they also sometimes cover peoples brains because once they get them they go through some sort of great character change and they turn into right royal ars# holes.
Personally I wouldn't advise anyone to get a tatoo no matter what the reason was, but I do also believe that people should do whatever they think is right for them without having to put up wih other people trying to control them and everyone else around.
