Is foundation bad for your skin?
Answers:
foundation gives you spots and blocks your pores, leading to blackheads, eugh
yeah in so many ways
depends on individual
Yeah, it really is, if I wear any for more than a couple of hours I end up all broken out with pimples by the next morning. Maybe there are some that aren't as bad, but I've never found one. Best wishes
make sure you get the right one for your type of skin, and remove all make up before you go to bed!
All the info here.
Use a facial cream before you apply foundation and make sure you cleanse your face afterwards, including using a toner. That should help!
Not if you buy a good brand foundation and that suits your skin type and age. And remove it properly with cream and washing your face afterwards.
Foundation, while covering up flaws, also blocks your pores and doesn't allow your skin to breathe. If over-used, you can end up with acne, or red, blotchy dry skin or a build up of natural oils your skin needs to produce to stay healthy (i.e. clogged pores, blackheads).
Only wear it for a few hours (4 to 6) and don't use foundation every day, use a good cleanser and moisturizer when removing it.
not all
it depends on the brand you use.the best brands i have used so far is chanel and estee lauder.if you using foundation just make sure cleanse your face before sleeping coz thats the time your skin cells relaxes and and feeds.so its important that you pores are clean so you dont have blackheads.
Yes if you wear it all the time, it blocks your pores and your skin cant breath, you need to look after your skni and make sure you clean the foundation of f throughly every night to give your skni a break
it is not bad for skin because it is used in many ways.
yea
some kinds cause the skin pores to be blocked and it is bad for teh skin, but you can look for some new foundation types which are dmatologically tested and are very fine and do not block the pores.
Foundation is bad for Oily, Problem and Combination types of skin.
It can clog your pores and make it flare up. Your skin needs to breathe and foundation can stop this particularly if you have problems with spots/acne.
If you want to use foundation then I suggest Light ones or Medicated ones. Lose powders dusted over your face give a much better natural look to foundation, they are easier to blend in and do not give the 'Mask' look.
