I would say about 6-7 months and that is if they try really hard and stick to a strict diet plan and do some exercising for at least 30 minutes a day.
It depends upon how much he/she eat daily and what are the exercise he/she do daily. Cannot predict like others.

I would say. iof she follws a proper diet and a exercise regime then about 6 months. but she cant falter in the way cause it will take longer. she should try a salad diet for 10 days by just eatuin slads and workin out. that will be atleasdt 5 in 10 days. but cant do that for 30kgs cause it will be harmful for the body.. but she can do wat i just said in breaks and losose 5 in 10 then a ten day gap with a controlled diet and then again 10 days of just salad and workin out. hope it helps

Having told me, in February, to lose weight, my doctor seems quite pleased that I'm losing 1 kg a month. He tells me that if I lose weight any faster than that I'll just put it back on again.
The fastest rate at which the human body can burn fat is about 1 kg a week, but this is only on a very restricted diet, which would be hard ( and possibly unhealthy ) to maintain for 30 weeks.
1 year should be a better goal.
