Is it true that drinking lots of water and being in the sun will help heal and prevent acne?

Answers:
It does help, but the only real cure for acne is time. Don't stay out in the full sun for more than 10 minutes at a time or you'll risk getting a sunburn. Wear sunscreen and a hat.
I have never hear of that one.but i know that being in the sun in general helps
lol nooooooo!
definetly on the water, since acne is an inside problem and water cleanses the body, i honestly think the sun does help also, but most pple dont agree
the sun helps a lot and for prom i went to the tanning beds for a week and it clesred it all up
the water, probably, but as for the sun, it seems more likely you would just get sunburnt
Yes. I swear. Hell what do you have to lose? It's free. Why not try it and see for yourself. It works for me.
Sunlight can help, as can tanning beds, in that it tends to dry your skin. Acne comes from oily residue, which is common in teenagers going through hormonal changes. The best thing you can do is to wash your face regularly, don't wear oil-based makeup, and use astringent to make your face less oily. Drinking water makes no difference.
Drinking lots of water a good thing being in the sun well you know the answer to that one. See a dermatologist and get what works best for you there are different kinds of acne that require different treatments my son had it very bad and he used antibiotics which cleared it up over time so check with your doctor.
Water helps thats for certain.
it's supposed to help, because the sun burns out the toxins in ur body (the bad stuff) and water is good 4 loadsa otha stuff (2 many to name). i think it help ur bloodstream run smoother or sumthin'.
yes it worked for me!!
Water - yes. The more, the better. If you can stomach it, about a gallon of water a day will give you a beautiful glow and will speed up healing process of any breakout.
Sun - somehow. The tan will camouflage the redness and discolorations and dry out existing pimples. But excessive sun exposure will irritate skin and speed up the oil production, which can lead to more breakouts. If you want to be in the sun, use an oil-free sunblock and wipe the sweat with a blotting tissue. Do not over-clean your skin, not good either.
Ye dink plenty of water!!! Never heard bout thr sun doin your acne good, suppose it can even out our skin tone ? But make sure you use sun proection, or just use a moisturiser with SPF in it. This can be used all year round ;-)
both can help, but minimally. Drinking lots of water is good for the health of your whole body, and it will cleanse some of the impurities that cause acne. Sun exposure also helps clear it up a little but, but getting too much sun runs the risk of skin cancer. I'd rather have acne than skin cancer, honestly (and I can say that, I've had horrible acne- I know how frustrating it is). What works best for me is a good exfoliating scrub like St. Ives Apricot scrub, and a non-greasy moisturizer. Moisturizing is important, because if your skin dries too much it will start over-producing oil.
yes drink water
yes but only for sometime in sun in the first hours in the morning, no later than 10:30 am
well being in d sun will help dry up any excess oilyness and water helps prevent spots and flushes the skin from toxins. but actual acne is a hormonal imbalance and in many cases a heridatary factor
