i guess it depends on how dark your jeans are. if you have super dark jeans i'd wear a darker sock.if you are wearing a light colored jean then i'd say the white sock won't be as obvious.most guys wear white socks with jeans of any color.don't worry about it, it's only socks

In the 1970's what you describe was almost a uniform for the lower teenager of the time. When they were in a large group watching them walk together was quite a spectacle with the contrast of the flashing white socks.
Lots of people do it all the time and I think that's because it's not likely anyone would care to notice anyway. What's the chance of someone picking up jeans to check out your socks ? lol. Having said that though, when my relatives go anywhere or travel places they get me to chose their socks :o. I would have probably picked a deep dark blue or black pair of sports socks to go with the jeans and shoes/trainers.
