Once your hair is cut can they take root elsewhere on the skin if they aren't showered off right away?
Answers:
No, but congratulations on the dumbest question so far on YA!
You are to be applauded
nope if hairs do that there wouldnt be bald people in the world, you actually need your hair root planted in teh skin for it to grow
No - it's not a tree sapling or something. It's a freaking hair.
no- where did you hear this?
what?? Are you serious??
No, thats silly
Yes!! Not many people know this, but that's why you see those guys at the beach with hair all over their shoulders and back.
Thanks for bringing this to the attention of people who don't know.
they are called hair splinters. hair hasbeenknow to take root in open follicles elsewhere on you body. like the feet and handsof a hairstylist.
Barney just made me laugh. Never thought that would happen. stupid dinosaur, you aren't supposed to be purple!
Try planting finger cuttings in the garden. You may get a brother or sister
They have Dr's for those who fear hair. LOL
yes a hair that isnt even yours can take root and cause an infection.
lol love it, what a great question.too funny.
I think the one and only sensible answer to this is NO lol
Good one to start a new urban legend on. I know kids who would skkkkkrrream at haircut time.
NO that is not true.
no, but thanks for the two points!
yes of course they can.All the time
well if it was true i would have a hairy back and im sorry i dont but thanx for the two points any way
Well I'm not sure if it takes root but they can stick in you. I am a hair stylist and oh maybe twice a year I will have to dig a hair out of my hand or arm. It will start hurting like a splinter but once I pull it out it's fine.
Umm it's not like hair is a plant or something, once you cut it, it's DEAD!
NO!
They don't just transplant themselves!
I'm not sure about a definite answer on this, but my mum is a hairdresser and she has always had to wear completely closed in shoes to work. She was told at college to do this so that the hairs dont bed into the foot and grow there, also someone asked this a while ago on Radio 1 and i think that the answer was yes it can. But i dont think its essential to shower it off right away, it quite rare to get 'hair splinters' unless you're around hair alot (back to the hairdresser issue).
nope if they did u would see girls with hairy backs
no, but the sharp little hairs can imbed in your skin if you are not careful..they will not take root tho, just be irritating..
god all you people are nuts! i havent laughed so much in ages! cheers x
yes
