Is a belly piercing sore when you first get it done?
Do they knock you out?
Does it hurt real bad without anestisia?
Does it bleed?
How long does it take to heal?
Answers:
My daughter had hers done and I watched so to answer your questions.
No you are not knocked out you are wide awake.
It would hurts real bad without anesthetic cream put on the area to numb it so do not try it without ok.
It should not bleed my daughters did not.
It takes about 6 to 12 weeks to heal depending on your healing process in your own body.
Now if you are going to have it done PLEASE go to a proper piercing qualified person. Make sure the shop is VERY clean and they use CLEAN OUT O THE PACKET neddles. That you clean the area regular and not just ignore it.
I am not trying to frighten you but please really make sure you go to a proper place I have seen some very bad infections in hospital where i used to work and belly button scared for life.
put it this way my friend passed out
think its to do with your own pain threshold
I have never had a belly button piercing but i think that they numb the area so you don't feel it.
no they dont knock you out.
no it dosent hurt
it might bleed a tiny bit but they clean it up for you
and like 6 weeks to heal if you look after it properly.
its a little sore when you first get it done but really it just feels more werid than anything becaue you can feel it inside you.
It's not too sore if you look after it, especially the first few days.
It is recommended that you wear loose clothing so it does not put pressure on it when it is trying to heal.
The actual piercing doesn't hurt too much, just a quick prick, and there is very little to no bleeding.
Will probably take about a week to heal.
they dont knock you out, its just a hole
yes it is sore you just put a hole in your belly button
it doesnt hurt that much, bit stingy and sore afterwards.
depends on the person if it bleeds or not, mind bled a bit!
takes about 3 months to heal entirely. but about 2 weeks to not be so sore. keep it clean with salt water, cotton buds and cotton wool, if it gets infected you will know about it! it hurts like hell!
get some antibac shower gel, and wash with that as well as bathing in salt water every day as well, good luck! looks cool once its done!
I had mine done 5 years ago, they don't knock you out. It felt to me like i was having a blood test done.it's doesn't bleed (well mine didn't) After you have it done it feels a bit tight.thats it
It all depends on your tolerance for pain, but its really not bad, just a little sore for the most part. No, they don't knock you out, and I've never really heard of them doing much in the way of anesthesia either. It didn't bleed, and takes about 3 months to heal. You have to clean and rotate it daily, and its kinda gross for awhile, it oozes..Also be careful as it heals not to snag it on your clothing, that HURTS!
Don't do it. It is so not IN anymore.
you just had a hole punched through your body.
what do you think it might feel like??
here is your special website: http://tinyurl.com/fe4ec
No, No, No, Yes & about 3 to 4 weeks.
No, it doesn't knock you out.
Yes, it hurts real bad.
Of course.
A while.
I had mine done 5 years ago now. It didn't really hurt when it was done or after. Have it done a reputable tattooist or piercer with a local council certificate of hygiene though. Backstreet tattooists maybe cheaper but they also may not be clean.
You won't be knocked out. They spray a cold solution on the area to numb it.
Mine took about 3 weeks to heal, my sisters took about a year but it didn't cause her any problems it just wept now and then. Keep cleaning it with salt water and it will be fine.
Yes it is sore. Or at least mine was. It's a good idea to wear loose jeans or hip huggers for the procedure.
No they dont knock you out. They use a clamp to numb the area.
It's not that complicated so you dont require anestisia.
Mine did not bleed.
Mine took almost 2 months, but that was because it got infected and I refused to take it out. (yeah stupid of me I know but there was no way I was letting it heal and then re-piercing through scar tissue.)
Oh yeah and they tend to get infected a bit more easily than other piercings. You wanna make sure to keep it very clean.
they dont knock you out,
it hurts like hell
bleeds like f**k
takes bloody ages to heal
in other words DONT DO IT
I had mine done at a really good tattoo parlour. they put a numbing spray on you and even though you feel it, it is not painful. It does however become painful once the spray has worn off. you have to take really good care of it otherwise it will definitely become infected. i was told to use saline solution (the same as they use for contact lens) to clean as this has no chemicals in it (if you can use it on your eyes then it must be OK). you can also kiss goodbye to wearing restricting trousers (jeans and the like) for a while because if you catch them on your new piercing it hurts to buggery!
They don't put you out for a piercing.
I don't know if it hurts really bad, I have never had one done.
No idea if it bleeds
Not sure on the healing process
What I do know is that a friend of mine had her belly button pierced and she walked around with her pants undone with a long shirt over it. She was constantly cleaning it because their was this gross looking crusty stuff on it.
As far as walking around with your pants undone, you won't have to do this if you have low cut jeans that doesn't touch the pierceing. She said it hurt to have the pants rubbing up against it.
I asked her why even bother with a pierceing if you have to go through so much trouble. She replied, because it is cute. She thought it was worth it. I don't think it is, but then again I don't like to deal with pain if I can avoid it.
If you do this just make sure you keep it clean so it doesn't get infected.
Good luck
They don't knock you out, it's only a little pinch, it bleeds, but only a tiny tiny bit. The time it takes to heal depends on the aftercare of it. It will heal very fast if you rinse it with a warm water and salt solution.
yes its hurts no they dont knock you out and if gets infect realy sore
It's nothing to worry about
They rub some 'anaesthetic' cream on the area which doesn't do much, and then they force a sharp spike through it(after drawing where they're gonna pierce). Does it hurt? Of course!!! Then, you have to turn every few hours so it doesn't stick, this hurts a bit and feels horrible. I used surgical spirit on mine for about 3 months;when I stopped,it immediately got infected and took another 3 months to clear up. This is because clothes rub against it,so it takes longer to heal-maybe have it done in the summer. Having said that,I'm very glad I had it done-I like the look,as do most blokes.
No they do not knock you out.
It is apparently actually illegal for them to use Anastasia - and if they offer to numb it for you - run, as this is not the accepted method!
It may bleed - although mine didn't. I didn't feel a thing - other than the guys hand on my stomach - I actually asked when he was going to do it and he had finished. It was fab!
It depends how long you normally take heal with a cut etc?
It is best to have a 'ring' type for your piercing and for a while after it heals - a 't' bar rubs more on your clothes and it is easier to pull on things, which makes the healing take longer! and adds to getting an infection.
I have had mine for over 6 years and never had any real trouble with it and I am diabetic and take a long time to heal - if you leave it a lone and don't fiddle with it - don't use creams etc - just wash with salt water every day for the first week. And then leave it as much as possible until it has healed completely - just bath/shower as normal and dry as normal - you should be fine - but make sure that you go to a reputable salon/piercer - that is the most important starting point!
Happy piercing! Mia x
all the peircing place does is mark the area and get a really think needle that kinda looks ike thogs ( one side wit a hole and the other side wit a needle then they tell you take a deep breathe and then whaa laa they rith away sticka bar bell in to you new hole it hurts for about three days it feels sore but just take car of it by washing it with alcohol and peroxide then in no time you will forget it was even there.
Dont do it
yes its slightly painful getting it done
but see the 1st time you catch it on your clothing
Then you will know what sore is
it weeps for weeks
The belly button piercing is the most difficult to heal
I really can't stand pain very well but i had mine done and it was fine a little pain and it was fine. Make sure you clean it all the time cause i had a friend that didn't and hers got infected and it wasn't nice she had to have it taken out, so just make sure you look after it!
Of course it will hurt!! Only certain people would faint because of it,it depends on your pain threshold, and I think some people might over exaggerate what the pain is like,so that could also be a cause of fainting. It will hurt for a while after, and with some people if they sit down after getting it done it can really hurt, but the pain should go within a few hours. It doesn't bleed. It takes a few months to heal.
