Natural curls?
i have natural curls but they make my hair more frizzy then it aready is and i need your advise of what shampoo is good for curly hair but controls the frizzyness!
Answers:
My hair is also the same.
To when I have a special occasion I treat it with Olive Oil and keep it on my hair while I sleep I find it is glossy and less frizzy when I style it the next morning.
My hair tends to Frizz as people want to touch it as they say it is so beautiful.
Another thing I do is never wash my conditioner out I wash my hair with shampoo then leave the conditioner in usually a nice smelling one like coconut. Even if it is not a leave in conditioner! then style as usual and leave to dry naturally. Having the conditioner also makes it easier to comb through. My mum has used this trick since I was a child.
I never use moose as it does not combat frizz for me even curl moose I use gel that holds the curls but not too hard. and finish it off with hairspray.
I have tried all those designer hair products designed for curls and non of them really help in fact my hair looks nicest after it has dried off from the swimming bath and just had conditioner in. Weird huh?
Try Paul Mitchell
u aint got curly hair or it'd curl. u av frizzy hair thats y it frizzes
anything in the frizzease range works wonders for me.
I don't think the shampoo matters as much as the conditioner. Using a thicker conditioner will hold the curl down some and help with the frizziness. Unfortunately, curls like to frizz.
Maybe Frizzease?
if you want to spend the bucks, get kerastase. i use the Kerastase Bain Oleo Relax Shampoo,Frizzy/Dry when i want curls or the Kerastase Bain Satin 2 when i plan on straightening it w/ a flat iron. bumble and bumble gentle shampoo is also great stuff.
i agree with HamTownGal, it's really all about the conditioner you use. as long as you don't have attitude against Panteine, their Hydrating Curls formula is very good. Suave Professionals has a decent curl product. and tresemme is economic and great for your hair!
In this weather EVERYONES hair turns frizzy I think. Frizzease is quite good.
TRY AVEDA "BE CURLY" IT MAKES MY FRIZZY CURLS SOFT AND FLEXIBLE WITHOUT A STIFF FEEL ALSO AVEDA "BRILLANCE" JUST A DAB THOUGH RUB IN HANDS AND APPLY TO ANY ADDITIONAL FRIZZ FOR TAMING
I have used Pantene for curly hair and Garnier Sleek and Shine recently with some success. What's most important is to not shampoo too frequently. Wash your hair with shampoo no more than once or twice a week. Use conditioner daily, though and don't rinse it all out. Also use leave in conditioner. Also use a deep conditioner once a week.
As for styling products, I really like the Dove mousse for curly hair. There are other products out there for curly hair.
Infusium 23 shampoo and conditioner.
pantene for curly hair
Go to the "Quidad" website designed specifically for people with naturally curly hair. The owner has naturally curly hair and has designed shampoo's, conditiners, and leave in moisturizers for curly hair only. My cousin who lives in Bayamon, Puerto Rico told me about this product. They all use it out there!
I use these products and they "work"!! I have naturally long curly hair, but my texture is very fine. You have to check out this site, I have tried every shampoo, conditioner out there, this company is geared toward women with naturally curly, frizzy, wavy, hair.
-you can even set up your on profile, it asks you questions concerning your hair texture, curl style, frizz, and then it will tell you what products are designed for your special hair need.
It's a great site and the products work. In the summer the serum is great, prevents your hair from frizzing up, because of the protective coating of the natural serum.
so check it out.
I had the same problem! Your hair is frizzy becouse it needs more moisture! Try using Pantene PRO-V hydrating curls! or try garnier sleek and shine! it should work for you because it works for me now after you wash your hair put in some hair products! like pantene! {i use mouse though}
