They don't fade. It could be a sign that you aren't washing your face enough. Or that you have too mcuh oil in your diet. You may need to visit your local drug store for products like Olay Daily Facials. Its a four step process.

Acne fades in time, don't worry about it, if u are really worried about it, cocoa butter or neosporin scar treatment works !
Acne is caused by several reasons such as accumulated dirt, microbes, or fatty meals that promotes the overworking of the glands in your skin, or promoting the growth of microorganisms.
This therefore would be the main point of your actions - prevention:
You should wash your face with the soap that will not cause allergic reactions from you. They could be tested and found by you yourself, don't believe the hypo-allergenic things they ussualy write, test them one by one till you get something that works for you.
Eat plenty of fruits and vegetables. They will help heal the wounds and promote better skin health.
In case of wound breakage, use bactroban ointment, it will help the wound healing faster in like 2 days or so.
Scars don't get earsed, but in due time they will. So you need to be patient, but what's most important is that you take actions to prevent further occurence so you won't worry for more scars.
I am unsure of your exact question, but I will, nevertheless, take a stab at it.
If you are asking how to get acne to fade, I have some answers, because I had acne vulgarious, which turned into cystc acne, when I was younger, and it was cleared up using special medicines. They have newer varities out now, so taking this into account, I will give you a list.
1) Make sure your skin is clean, and oil free. Take a shower every day. Wash your face and hands 3 times a day. Do not over wash, as this will cause problems in and of itself. For me, I would use plain Ivory in the Summer, and White Dove in the Winter.
2) Antibiotics. Topical (Creams and Topical Solutions, the solutions are cheaper), and oral. Your doc will have to look at it, to see which one is best for you.
3) Benzoyl Peroxide 5 or 10 percent. Just be careful of over drying.
4) If it is severe, they may want to use Accutane. Be careful about this drug. The benifits are great, but there are some pretty serious, possible complications, to be considered.
5) Once it has cleared up, if you have raised scars (keloids), they can inject them with cortisone, and this will reduce them, and even make them fade away.
I used all of the above, and I have no scars, whatsoever, on my body, from the very serious acne I had, when I was younger. Try to get your primary care doc to send you to a dermatologist. Dermatologists can do wonders with this problem.
I hope this helps.
Old Soldier
they have this over-the-counter stuff called acnefree scar reduction kit.
GET IT! i use it, it rocks!
My brother had bad acne until he moved into my house.
I feed him a healthy diet of fresh veggies, sacked off all fizzy drinks, fried food, crisps and chocolate. I replaced it all with water cereal bars, and fruit. It took three weeks and we could see the difference. If you do not see any results you can get prescriptions for this off the doctor
Do you mean how does acne fade?..From your spelling and grammar I guess you are another ignorant teenager. If you are..trust me..it will fade as you get older.
Acne scars do fade with time but to reduce the initial redness of any spots and actually reduce the spot i must recomend Freederm available from Boots. You only need a little bit and it's brilliant xx
When the spots are red and angry make sure you do not pick or squeeze. This means that with the proper care they stand a good chance of fading away completely over time as you will have no bad scarring to contend with. Oiliness is the main contributary factor in acne spots so don't over wash your face: twice daily and perhaps a medicated toner or facial wipe part way through the day if you feel you need it. Also- from my personal experience try this: after washing face befor bed (medicated wash such as johnson and johnson deep pore cleansing facial wash is what i used) and patting skin dry thouroughly get some 100% pure, natural lavendar oil (holland&barrat health shop) and rub it into your skin very liberally all over your face until its absorbed. Then pour some into your hand and dot it onto bad spots but do not rub in, just leave it, tie your hair back from your face and go to bed. there wont have been a miracle over night but you should see an improvement if you carry on with it. Also don't worry that it being an oil it will make your oily skin worse-it wont! Lavendar is balancing (as well as being antiseptic!) and will actually rebalance your oily skin. Also don't worry about putting it neat on your skin (although it says not to on the bottle) as my skin is HYPER sensitive and i have always found lavendar oil to be very gentle. Good luck with it and just keep trying different things; but make sure you give them 5 or 6 weeks to see if they are gonna work.
Your stuck with it, keep it clean and lots of sunshine, a tan can help but keep it clean with all proscribed.
