Is it worth my time to sell all my unused shoes on e-bay?
I have about 20 pairs of embarrasing mistakes. The shoes are nice, but don't suit me. Has anyone tried to feel less guilty by selling them on e-bay before? is it a waste of time?

Hi, I'd have to say yes to that one, I have sold all kind of things on ebay from used makeup to cars, its always worth a go, there is always someone out there willing to buy anything, my rule is always start the price low, but charge enough on the posting so if you don't get a high bid for you item you are still going to make some money, but be careful, I lost out on some items when I first started on ebay as i didn't put enough down for postage and only got 1p for my item so I lost, but I soon learnt my lesson, good luck and I hope you make some money!!
I don't think there is anything wrong with selling used shoes on ebay or anywhere else as long as they are in good condition
Do they smell? JK. You can always sell them in lots on ebay instead of individually.
It could be good! but if you are size 10, contact me first!
try to sell them. ebay is the way to go. someone out there will have a use for them. if they don't sell, give them away
give it a go. you would be suprised what some people will pay. add a photo of them, but give a true discription. good luck
no
Prob as it only cost's 12p to sell items
Tomorrow is 10p listing day so go for it!
It is worth your time; however; keep in mind; the postage/packaging is a hassle.
good luck;
Have you considered donating them to an nursing home?
I donate stuff to the nursing homes; maybe some guys would like em.
people will sell anything on e-bay ..what will it hurt who knows you could make a buck or two..good luck
just think you could have a good night out with the money you get, go for it
i don't think so. you wasted money buying them, at least get some of it back.
Unless your shoes are designer label or really unusual, I don't know if it would really be worth it.
Consider donating to a charity. You can get a tax write-off.
Sometimes it's worth selling them as long as they're in good nick. However, take note of how heavy they are. If they're likely to cost a lot to post them, many buyers will be out off because it bumps the price right up.
Good luck.
No, it's not a waste of time. The cost is minimal, you clean out your closet, someone gets shoes they want, and you get money in your PayPal account. Win-Win-Win.
Just remember to take digital pictures so the buyer can see what he/she's getting, and make your descriptions very accurate and honest about the condition and wear. It pays to look at successful sellers' terms and conditions, too. Anybody with a 95%+ rating has figured out the ebay auction system. Most ship by USPS Priority Mail and ship within the continental US.
Good luck and have fun!
no reason why you shouldnt - as long as they are not falling apart and you give correct info on them, photos even better.
some people sell some very odd things on E-bay so shoes is nothing to worry about.
Sell, Sell, Sell! Try and get your money back, you never know someone might be lloking for them but can't find them! Good liuck
Depending where you are can you do a yard sale, seem to me it would take a long time on ebay but I've never used ebay so I don't really know.
depends if u need the money
if your not famous no one will want your crappy shoes
I got £7 for my 'mistake' boots. Go for it, but find out exactly how much they will cost to send first.
Yes. BUT the key to ebay is brand name recognition. If they are not a brand name, they will be difficult to sell. People type in words like Nine West and Steve Madden, etc. more often then purple pumps. Also, they are assured quality versus a description from a faceless seller.
You could also sell all 20 in a small lot if you are feeling lazy and don't want to list each individually.
The ebay community boards will be very helpful getting you up and running. Check them out.
it's not a waste of time if they are worth a bit of money.there is a buyer for everything.then you can buy shoes that do suit you!
It is worth it if the shoes are in good condition. If people like your shoes and they are of similar size they will return to you as a buyer. You also have to make the price worth it. Once they pay for the shoes and pay shipping are they paying what they would have paid in the store? If so they probably won't buy. People buy used stuff from others to GET A DEAL. If you just want to get rid of them remember that any sale price with help, right.
If you have 20 pairs of embarrasing mistakes, you can afford to give them away to someone in need.Go ahead ,you,ll have fun.
Sell them, least you'll get some money back from it!! I've bought shoes from eBay loads of time for myself and the kids.
It's got to be better than selling a fart in a jar!! Yes people sell this on eBay!
Another persons junk is another persons treasure. Go for it!!
Yes I think it is fine. I would sell them in groups, otherwise it may not be worth your time.
You should try to sell them I am sure that some loser will buy them!
