Mostly slutty girls wear them out. i think it is better to have just one special person see it,rather than everyone that comes in contact with you.

It depends on the thong, the body and the place. If it's a decorative/sparkly thong hanging out from over a pair of loose trousers e.g. combats, while in a nightclub then I think it looks cool. Anywhere else and it's just tacky.
