Do you need to use sun cream in the sun to stop a tattoo from fading?

Answers:
You see lots of builders/construction workers stripped to the waste with tattoos, I dare you to go and ask one lol. Seriously, I had one done this year and was told the skin hasn't changed and to carry on using sun tan lotion and after sun cream.
no i dont think so
I usually apply spf 45 sunscreen to my tattoo. and I keep applying it
They will all fade over the yaers a bit. Applying a sun block will help slow it down. If it is a new tat, then by all means cover it with sunblock, you DO NOT want to let the skin burn over a new tat
All tattoos will fade in time. However, it may take a number of years for this to happen. Some guys who had tattoos done in their early twenties, have to get them re-inked (re tattooed) by the time they are in their 50's.
No matter what you should always put sunscreen on when out in the sun, my tat still looks the same as when I had it done and I use sun screen my mom never does and hers looks like hell but I know a old man that put lotion on everyday and you cant tell what it is so I think sooner or later everything fades.
I don't think so but the skin would be more sensitive there with the pigment change. I would wear sunscreen.
