Help! What can I use?

I have just bought a pair of boots which are a tad too big round my calf. What can I use to pad it out a bit? Thick socks are no good, as the toe will be too tight. Any suggestions??

Leg warmers
Hi there.
You didn't mention what material your boots are made of, short of that, perhaps you could try scrunching them down a bit for a fuller look that would take up some of the excess slack, or consider tucking your jeans legs into them which would naturally fill them out more.
Leggings and a long, thick, belted top might help as well.
Good luck.
get some leg warmers, or if you don't have any cut the foot out of an old pair of socks
Myself, I would take them back.

You might take them to a shoe shop to see if they could alter them.

I would not stuff anything down into them. Maybe they will look ok with boot cut pants.
There are these pads you get with new helmets. They come in different thicknesses and have velcro, or adhesive on one side. They are to help your helmet custom fit your head. I think you could use them for the boots? Check out a bike shop to see if they sell them idividually.

Cheers
What ever you do will ot work.
Go back to the store where you purchased them and tell your problem.
They will help you.
legwarmers!! or cut the foot of the socks!
shin pads put on backwards
You could tuck your jeans into them but personally I'd take them back because you'll just go off them completely.
If there isn't a huge space between your calf and the boot, I would definitely suggest molefoam. You can get it at any drugstore, it is adhesive on the back, and can be cut into whatever size you may need. It also has a soft exterior, so there won't be any chafing or discomfort when it touches your skin. The adhesive will also keep it from slipping out of position when you walk. You can find it in the area where there are insoles, laces, etc. I hope you find something that works for you, and take care!
Try leggings to help pad it. You don't want to add a lot of bulk to your legs, you might end up looking heavy. But even a small difference can help.
I doesn't really matter if the boots are too loose if it's only by a bit. Many women have thinner legs, and boots are made for the "average" calf. So there are a lot of women walking around in looser fitting boots.
if you pad it around ur calfs its gonna ruin the whole boot theme. The only suggestion is to return them.
Believe it or not, my wife had a similar problem last year and used thin sanitary towels stuck to the inside of the boots !

I thought it was bonkers but it worked and she had a ready supply of towels if she was ever caught short.
Voila !
Take your boots to a shoe repair shop and they can take the calf bit in abit so it custom fits your legs.

Good luck
legwarmers of course, you can get them really cheap for about £2.50 in a ballet store in all the colours you can think of!!
Hi dear.
Try to use them with jeans
return em =0)
Probably take them back, or see if anywhere can alter them (providing they are a pliable fabric) I have bought many pairs of shoes and regret not gettin a different size etc, especially if they were expensive y should consider taking them back and seeing if any help is available.
get some leg warmers as they pad out your lower legs!
