Should we all go back to wearing hats like our grandparents before The War?

Great question, I remember in the 50's and 60's Men didn't go outside without slacks or kakies, white shirt, tie, wingtip shoes, hair combed, etc. Women wore flowered dresses and had thier hair done to do housework. I used to go clamb digging with my Uncle and his friend on the SF beaches and they donned thier fedora's rolled up thier slacks, took of thier ties and dug like mad dogs. Now we throw something on, muss up our hair and out the door? No hats? Maybe sun baked brains. I'm an old flower child, so I don't know what gives.
Obviously we don't want another war.

None of my hats look anything like any of my grandparents - hats have a brim or peak (sometimes) and are designed to go on your head, whereas grandparents have 2 arms and 2 legs (sometimes) and are designed to give you choc ices.
