Thick Hair?
I have really thick and curly hair, I use straighten irons everyday but it still seem really think. Is there anythink i can do to my hair to make it thinner. I hate it bein thick

Ask the hair dresser to thinnen it out with a thinning comb, when you straighten your hair also try to do it in very thin layers. There are also ways of making your look fabulous with think hair as I had really think hair once and bugged to a beaut, so I tried loads of different hair styles like crunching with mouse and hair spray, curling it with curly tongs will make your hair look gorgeous, wearing it half up and half down, or maybe you could try putting it in low-bunches (not high). Just experiment. You can conditioners which tame your hair as well.
I have that same problem. Try getting it thinned out next time you get it cut.
Get it layered and have your stylist razor the hell out of it! My hair is EXTREMLY thick and after I had that done it felt like my head had lost ten pounds it really great
Get to love your hair for what it is and i would guess the straighteners will not be helping you might go to boots and ask at the counter if there is a good shampoo or anything you can do .
hope this helps.
have lots of choppy layer put in and ask your hairdresser to thin it out. then you can have it strait where it looks sooooooooooo cool or have it curly (use sunsilk defrizzing creme to stop it frizzing) and that is snazzy
I think you're lucky! I have (clever) thinish hair and I'd love it to be a little thicker. You can get it thinned out when you go for your next haircut, otherwise just find ways of fixed it that make you look great with your abundace of curls!
you can try tresemme heat defence styling spray available anywhere.i have extremly thick, long hair and find it definitely makes it feel thinner than it is.you could also try layering yr hair slightly to lessen the volume. hope it helps
you can get certain shampoo for fine hair
it works well and it makes it really thin
the best shampoo what you can get is tresemme and great hair (by claude michael)
Flat Irons kill your hair and make it thicker (with fly aways and really dry hair) the day after you iron it.
But to make your hair thinner, you should go to a salon and ask a pro, or maybe you could look on african american forumns on how they get their super curly hair striaght. (I have naturally CURLY hair but I straighten it without heat)
Try Bantu knots at sleep. Try curlers at sleep. Do you sleep without your hair in anythink protective?
There are so many factors to having curly hair, but just look online.
I had the same problem so i went to my hairdressers and got layers cut into my hair, now my hair is so manageable i can have it straight or curly.

I have really thick hair n wavy its a nightmare aint. the only way to make your hair look really thin is to have layers put in. When i first had it done my hair felt like a new head of hair and it was really soft, i definatley recommend layering your hair. But thinning also works but it still goes back to feeling thick in a few weeks . Hope this helpd
mine is the same, get it layered it worked for me

I used to have very thick hair too, but luckily only on my head! Is your hair frizzy? There are many products available on the market to defrizz it. Using conditioner flattens it a little. I would agree that you should go to the hairdresser to ask for advice. A hairdresser once told me that it is a pleasure working on thick hair, as they love cutting it! If it's long they have a method of wrapping it around your head to flatten and straighten it, which you could also do at home.
I have exactly the same problem loll you're not alone!!

I have the same problem! I straighten my hair every single day and it stays straight for about 1 hour and then..BANG its back to frizzy thick hair again (slight exaduration!) I have layers and it does really seem to help because after all there will be less hair! :D lol
Are you black? If you are that's your culture and it's nothing to be ashamed of all you need is a PERM! And if your white that means your roots have a little black in them.Well anyways just try a lite perm one that isn't to strong.
