Where is good to buy winter coats in Angel (Islington) apart from the shops in the N1 centre?

The new Reiss shop next to Tesco Metro. The independent boutiques further up Upper Street towards Highbury.
try a market near you, they have some lovely stuff or try Debenhams if there is one near you!
i know it might sound daft but have you looked on ebay,i just recently discovered it and i love it.
why not try the shop Oasis, Gap, French connection.
I have never been to london shopping, i feel lame saying so. im sure river island is a good place to stop off.
