Hair extensions?
i have fine hair and want to try extensions.Have you had them and was they worth the money? Can you advise me about the care and managability of them.
Answers:
With fine hair I'd probably not recommend extensions.
They can be damaging to the hair, and if your hair is fine it could cause it to break. Also think about the fact your hair is fine, they may very well show..
As for managebility, they are quite complex to look after, lots of brushing to from tip to root to keep them looking nice, and remember you can feel them when you sleep.
Think about the lack of things you can do with long hair too?
Also fine hair with extensions can look too unatural as they are thick at the bottom.
Also do you have a sensitive scalp? Extensions can pull through weight and make your scalp extremeley sore.
Hope this helps :)
try the jessica simpson hairdo line. its something that she and her hairdresser ken paves created. they are extensions but clip on. they look fairly natural. its worth a try.
I have thin hair too, so I know the feeling . but after having them, I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
First of all, they are a lot of money to keep them up. They hurt when they are first in. They pull on your hair all the time and you can't wear your hair in certain fashions because you have to be careful of them not showing.
yea i have had them . money wise it depends where u go . i bought the hair and my mom did them and they came out nice . i only had yjem in for about a week cuz the hair i purchased made my scalp itch . u can apply moisters and check where the hair is from. i usually only recommend maybe like a special evening kind of thing . you cant wash ur hair because they could come out.
Try the glue in ones first, they only cost £25 pounds, if you like them then book into a good hair-dressers and have the sown in ones
get the clip in ones and get them done at the hairdressers they will find u the best colour match to your hair, there easy to manage and they wont ruin your hair great for a new look!
hair extensions are so expensive. and you can always kinda tell that someone is wearing them.
I recommend the clip in ones. you can wear them wen and how you want.
Look on www.ebay.co.uk
here you can get them dead cheap.
on my girl friend birthday i have brought some fine quality human hair from a shop in london called pak hair boutique, when my girl friend had the extension she was looking amaizingly beautiful,
it last her for 3to4month, if you want to contact them there number is 02072632331 and intrestingly they do mailorder
I've had hair extension and I'm fully qualified as a technician so any further advise i will be willing to give any way hair ext are brilliant to give extra thickness as well as length i would advise you to go to a salon that does balmain ex are in my experience i found they are the best but be warned that extensions take alot of looking after and also alot of visits to the salon for maintenance but if they are done correctly they look fab good luck !!
