Fake tan or pasty skin??

Im quite pale with brown hair and regularly fake tan but have been told that natural pale skin is way better.. What do you think?

I sport the porcelain look proudly (you'll look years younger when all those tanned goddesses have wrinkles) but I did do the mystic tanning for my wedding. It was just enough color to make me feel like I had a little more glow for the wedding. Just make sure to moisturize so you will be porcelain, not pasty.
i recommend spending the winter months in Barbados.that's where i will be
I think pale and interesting is definitely the look at the moment. If you are bothered by it, invest in some blusher to give your cheeks a bit of a warm glow.

Don't hit the fake tan, it generally stains your hands, forms unsightly blotches and makes you look like a certain citrus fruit.
I think make the most of the colour you are. if you were meant to be different colour you would have been born that way. Let nature take care of your skin.
Go with your natural skin color. A fake tan looks fake, I don't care what kind it is. You will look much better with your natural color.
IN THE MIDDLE.

Try Johnsons, its got a HINT of fake tan. Applying this will look alot better then looking orange or looking like a ghost!!!
Just buy a really good quality bronzer that will take the pasty look away.
pale skin - fake tan looks so false and when it goes patchy and orange, it looks awful. Be proud of your natural skin colour! =D
Be the colour God made you in the winter - no cares that much anyway cos you'd be wearing woolies and warmies. But in the Summer months, moisturiser with a hint of colour, then a holiday in the sun to top it up properly. Remember to use good sun protection cream.
fake tan can look orange and it's just awful! I used to fake tan but now i just accept i'm pale. which bloke wants to date an umpa lumpa with streaks? Pale is better, if you chose the rights colours to wear for your complexion then there shouldn't be a problem. Love the skin you're in! (as they say)
fake tan looks nasty when it goes streaky on your ankles and elbos and orange every where else. so pasty is cool. but if you want a slight glow try a body moisturiser with a hint of tan as it will give you a subtle glow without making you look false
Not all fake tans are Orange, you just need to get the right one that suits your skin tone, My fav is san tropez but i also like loreal sublime foam as you can see it when your putting it on, so no streaking and if you practise enough, you;ll get your hands even also.
fake tan makes you look healthy and pale skin makes you look anorexic and dead.
i definitely don't agree with the person that said being pale makes you look aneorexic & dead. I've got very pale skin & I only tan in the very middle of summer- I look bigger when I don't have a tan than I do when I am tanned. I'm not sure where in the world they got that from?

Look at people like Scarlette Johanson & all of the other gorgeous girls that are embracing their pale tones with good make-up shades and clothing shades. they look beautiful and aren't stressing about their skin tone all at the same time! :)
yeah i think natural pale skin is way better and fake tan looks really fake
fake tan
Fake tan but only if it's applied properly. No need for 10 applications either, healthy is the look your aiming for not Michelle Heaton from Liberty x in sayin that that's still better than ''heroin chic'' a la Pete Doherty.
