Can tea tree oil be used to remove chewing gum from clothing?

Answers:
Well for clothes, I would hope thats only a last resort because using oil is for getting it out of hair only! (which works gr8 by the way)

Umm, I'd say try the freezing method, BUT whatever you do,
be very careful about what chemicals/substances you use on your clothes, because the result depends on what TYPE of material the garment is made of.

Good Luck!
yes
Not heard that one before. The one I know is that you can put the item of clothing in the freezer - once the gum is frozen it can be picked off - apparently it really works.
Probably not - the best thing to do is stick the item of clothing in the freezer for a few hours then just pick off the gum.
But won't you have a stain from the tea tree oil? I would use the freezer technique, and if there's a mark left behind get a bottle of stain devil-it never fails and is only about £3. :)
It possibly could, but i've heard it's easier to freeze the gum, like put an ice pack on it then it should go tacky and be able to be removed, it wiould save you from having to buy tee tree too!
