Question ? plz take a look?
I know that if you shave hair on any area of you body hair grows more and thicker.
What about waxing ? does hair grow denser and thicker if you wax it ?
Answers:
Although waxing hurts, it removes the hair form the follicle (it's source). Because of this, when the hair grows back (approx. 4 weeks), it is the same thickness as before. Shaving leaves a blunt end, so it appears thicker and blacker. Also, after a few times waxing, the hair starts to not come through as much, and eventually stops coming
No because it removes the hair from the source (the folical) and therefore when it grows back it grows with the same natural thickness as before. When you shave it leaves a blunt end and this is what makes it look thicker.
waxing hurts!
no it grows slower because it has rippen the roots out, which need 2 grow fully again, waxing hurts more but lasts longer and no thicker hair, just normal
well it is being yanked from the root so eventually it does become weaker and may even stop growing
when waxing, after a while hair grows back thinner, therefore its slightly harder to see the regrowth
Shaving doesnt make hair grow thicker, you only have so many hair follicles and they dont multiply when you shave.
With waxing, over time hair will get less and less as your dragging it out from the roots.
Waxing weakens the root of the hair, so eventually it will grow back finer after each time you wax.
Hair does not grow thicker it only appears thicker after shaving because the ends are blunt.Waxing stops this effect so is better.
hair growing back thicker after shaving is a myth - the hair is exactly the same.. if that was the case all men would get thicker and thicker stubble.. it just isn't the case.
a hair is not straight.. it gets thinner as it gets to the end, when you shave you are cutting this thin bit off.. and leaving the thicker bit under the skin which when it comes out will look thicker.. but if you continue to shave this thick part will not get any thicker, when you wax you are pulling the whole hair out including the thick bit and so when it regrows only the thin bit comes through to start with.. I hope this makes sense.
