I have a burning and itchy scalp, i have changed my shampoo, could it because of this?
Answers:
Definately. Use some T-gel to alleviate the problem, then either go back to your origional shampoo or look for another brand without the ingredients in that were in your new shampoo, but not in your old one.
It is possible that you are allergic to an ingredient in the new shampoo that you use.
yeah maybe change shampoos again, find one that doesn't lead to a burning scalp. and always rinse your hair very well.
It could be due to a change in the weather also. My scalp gets drier when the heating goes on in the winter- drink plenty of water and use baby shampoo for a while to stop any allergy.
Definitely sounds like a reaction to an ingredient in the shampoo.
Don't use the new stuff go back to what you usually use and see if it goes away. :)
yes, I'd have said so.
I had the same problem, i found out that i had a allergy to the shampoo. Also the change in weather and season can cause the scalp to change, in the summer the scalp maybe oily or the winter the scalp maybe drier. What i found in the winter my scalp gets dry and sensitive so i use a shampoo, which is gentle for my scalp and then change back to my regular shampoo in the summer when my scalp go oily again.
the shampoo might be to strong for your scalp which causes it to become extremlly dry. the burning maybe because your scratching it and irritating your head. try a softer shampoo with more moisture. a deep conditioner wil help get your hair back in shape. try aphogee, sulfur8 or some other carrot or hair mayonise to condition your hair
try using a mild shampoo preferably a baby shampoo
SOUNDS LIKE YOU MAY HAVE AN ALERGY - STOP USING THE NEW SHAMPOO IMMEDIATELY - RINSE AND RINSE GENTLY WITH PLAIN COOL WATER - IF IT PERSISTS GO TO YOUR DOCTOR.
yeah you could have an allergy to the shampoo but maybe you may have developed a sensitive scalp, I also have a sensitive scalp but only harsh products effect it. if it burns don't use it again
