Daniel Craig was villified for being "The Blond Bond," are blond guys seen as being less manly?

Is there a prejudice or bias in society against them?

Answers:
I think the milky bar kid has a lot to answer for!! Blond men do seem to be more boyish somehow. Maybe it's because the other Bonds have had dark, brooding, smouldering looks?! ;) I personally would love to date a blond haired man(natural of course!)
maybe a bit yeah - but there are worse things you can be discriminated against for!
Yeah. They are all big girls blouses.
I guess there is. Blond is associated with innocence and angels, and all that cutesy stuff. Dark hair is brooding, sultry and dangerous. Hence why people think Bond should be dark haired.
I think Craig has done a great job though.
no his blue eyes makes up for it, i have to say they are like diamonds.
could be a new form of colour prejudice
Yes, Blonde guys are like the bottomfeeders of society. Their only purpose in life is to be second to the Alpha male Brunette Man. It is surprising they haven't all died out. Evolution will eventually kill them off.
No, "tall, dark and handsome" is the stereotype and James Bond fit into it, I believe, in the books and the previous movies. Although Roger Moore was not dark-haired really.

I believe there may be a bias against blond men in society but they frequently have an advantage with women. Again, though, there may be a bias that all blonds/blondes are less trustworthy as mates. Sexual stereotyping in place.
I'm blonde and a male and I've never heard this much hate for males that have blonde hair until I read this article, damn!
I dont think so
you mean ive got another sterio type to live with? im a male student nurse in a uni just outside london and i moved here from chester so not only am i a northener to this bunch of numpties but im also thought of as gay.and now im not manly enough cos im blond? the fact im straight and have only lived "up north" for 13 of my 31 years is kinda worrying so i guess i should learn to live with it eh?

anyway it didnt stop bond getting the woman, twice, winning a shed load at poker which is cool especially after he literaly died half way through the game, and did anyone see the scene where he was tied to the chair? talk about hard as nails or what? bring it on tim, roger, george, sean and pierce
Yes! When ever I didn't like someone I would subconsciously think of them as blonds. I remember once remarking to a co-worker/friend, that I hated so in so and mentioned that he was blond. My friend said, "What do you mean? He has black hair!"
Maybe it's because we think of blonds as being dumb or flighty
i like blonde boys i think its cute especially if its long but not if its curly but Daniel Craig hasnt got propa blonde hair so wats all da hassel for its more of a dirty blonde brown+blonde mix
Blondes are associated with Surfer dudes and High School Jocks no offense (hey blame the movies here) and yes all the dumb blond jokes etc. But I think it's just that people are so used to James Bond being the Dark haired hero or tall dark and handsome, they just associate him with that image and were shocked a little for the blonde to play him. But from the movie is good who cares?
