I'd stay away from black shoes if this is a fall like wedding. Black would look more appropriate if it were a December wedding. The other color families (platinum, silver, copper) are more autumn.

if its an out side wedding than black boots if its inside i like the idea of a gold and silver sequen ballet slipper there in and ther realy comfortable so you dont get sors from standing on your feet and dansing but if you go for the black boots i would go flats or a low heal, wedges are also good.
I would go with black, doesn't matter if it's a boot, flat, or heel. Wear something that you feel comfortable in so you can dance!

Black or a really dark chocolate brown are the best two picks. I'd wear brown. I would not go with red (it'd be too much!) but if you do, make sure its an exact match. Dont wear a lighter color shoes than the dress, unless they are metallic (gold, copper, silver); even then I'd go with a darker shade of it; and if you do that make sure you wear jewelry that matches (like gold jewelry with gold shoes, etc). Either get some dyed the same colour as your dress or black. Or what about the new dark silver/gunmetal colour. That would be very sazzy. No gold though. you will look like a Christmas decoration. All the best.
