When i wear fashion jewellery it often leaves a green mark on my skin! How can I stop this from happening?

Necklaces, Rings, Bracelets etc gold and silver fashion jewellery.

Answers:
Stop buying nasty cheap stuff
Buy Gold, problem solved.
You are allergic to the nickel in costume jewellery. Buy gold or silver
Your skin probably is very sensitive to gold and silver either that or you are buying cheap jewlery. You probably shoud buy jewlery that is less tight because it stops blood circulation and that area turns green.
put a thin coat of clear fingernail polish on the underside.
clear nail varnish on the parts that touch the skin.
well i put clear nail polish on it and it makes it look shiny and doesn't"t leave marks on you
Yeah that happens to me too. I can only wear 22k or 24k gold. The cheap stuff well like turns your skin green .
Stop buying costume jewelry.

Or if you have to, paint the insides of rings and bracelets with clear nail polish. Necklaces will be tougher as painting clear nail polish will possibly make it too britle to wear.

Also, some people have this reaction to expensive, real jewelry too. For example, my mom breaks out every time she wears yellow gold but can wear white gold just fine. So it's possible it's not just cheap jewelry that you're allergic to.
stop wearing cheap jewelry, it doesn't work with the enzymes in your body.
I know for rings, you can coat the inside with clear nail polish. Let it dry before you put it on though.
If you like silver, try buying white gold. It's more expensive but it shouldn't leave any marks.
paint the back of the jewellery with a clear nail varnish that should do the trick, make sure you get into all the nooks and crannies and it will stop the nasty green marks
Its not real gold or silver. Paint the areas that touch your skin with a few layers of clear nail varnish and it might help.
you are wearing copper that is the one that will change your skin color. You can do two things. The first is you can take that jewelery and get a can of polyurethane to seal the jewelry so that your skin does not get green. The second thing is just don't wear the copper stuff.
by not wearing it!
well erm, polish it up or buy the real stuff coz i've never heard of REAl silver leaving marks on anyone's skin. unless i just never heard of it and you did buy genuine stuff,.. did you??? in which case you might try polishing it up, might help.
The reason this happens is because the cheap and nasty metal oxidises with your natural sweat so the problem would be solved if you wear gold or sterling silver.
Because it's made out of cheap metals/materials. Gold is expensive but nice. Try looking for sterling silver, a lot cheaper than gold but still nice. But you can't get sterling silver wet, it may tarnish and you'll need to polish it. When you buy sterling silver, you want to preferably look for a stamp or something that says it's .925 sterling silver. 100% sterling silver is not good for jewelry-too soft, so they add other metals usually nickel to it. .925 means it's 92.5% sterling silver.
You need to wear real silver and gold not plated!

you skin can often turn other colours!

because its cheap metal
wel if dat iz gunna happen ither stick wiv it or stop wearin jewlery cauze wat else iz dere 2 do dat iz only da truth.
theres some proper stuff you can buy from boots to paint on your cheap jewellery stops the green marks
put nail varnish on the inside which is in contact wi ya skin, this coats it and wont make your skin green
Unfortunately, it is the type of jewellery you buying. The quality of this jewellery is poor, and often is a sign of the cheap manufacturer of the items.

You cant stop it, just from now on, instead of picking up cheap bargains, spend a little more on a finer quality.
