I think she means WHAT to wear them with..I would say a short skirt would look best with those. Or maybe over leggings and then for a shirt a long sweater dress, those seem to be in style.

We wore them around our calves, just below the knee, sort of slouched down around the ankle, covering the back of our shoes.
You mean, inside or outside? I think they are most effective worn on the inside.
Going to have a wild guess, but I would say that you wear them on your legs? Call me crazy, but thats what I would do with them! Above your ankles and they kind of slouch up your calves.

You wear them from just below your knee to your ankle, just so they kinda cover the back of your shoes. They go really well with a long sleeved shirt, jean mini skirt, and tights. I love that look, I think they are awesome, fashionable, and way cute.

First, put on some shiny spandex leotards and tights, then put on your leg warmers up to the knee, then some stiletto pumps. Tease your hair up huge with a can of hairspray and wear a ton of make up. Hit the town as a 70's diva.
