Do girls really check out what clothes a guy is wearing before deciding if she likes him or not
and do you really check out his shoes?

Put it this way. I've been with my girlfriend for 8 years now. When I first met her, I remember she told her friend how well I dress especially colour co-ordination. So, yes they do take a lot of notice, but you don't have to spend a fortune. just dress well!
As long as hes had a wash and his clothes are clean, who cares what hes wearing and what shoes hes got.
check out appreance i need to look at his shoes or feet to determine if he knows how to take care of himself.. if i see a gd looking guy but his toenails are so long.. eww what a turn off

hate to sound shallow but yes.i'm not too picky about the whole clothes thing..but as long as your clothes don't wreak, or have holes in then or dirty spots all over them, i'll give ya a chance to get to know you.shoes i don't care about that much..just don't be wearing shoes with holes in them and do not wear socks with sandals
well lets put it this way, what u'r wearing is gonna influence you catching in my attention, but of course personality does help in determing whether i like you or not
shoes are the first thing i notice. a guy has to have on nice clean shoes. then you check out the rest of the outfit and it does make a big, lasting impression. whether you know this or not, a girl knows if she is going to have sex with you within minutes of meeting you. she just has to decide how long she will make you wait
i used to look at shoes first, they had to wear a certain kind of shoe, but saying that when i first saw my hubby he was in his work overalls covered in oil and my first impression was the scruffy git. so i think its more personality, i think as you get older you realise there is more to a person than designer labels
Yes, it's kindo of unavoidable. It is one of the first major things you see when looking at someone. I look at that first as well as teh total package- the look/style, the way he speaks and expresses himself, the smile, teeth, eyes, walk, sense of humor! All that stuff counts anc yes sorry to say the clothing counts too. As much as people like to say it doesn't it's hard to deny the fact that it does play a role.

YES, I REALLY CHECK OUT HIS SHOES. That is the second thing I look at, first I look at his facial features then shoes. Clothes we can work on but has to have some clean fresh shoes.

All chicks are differant.Some like rugged guys ,some like fem guys,some like us tall some want short guys.Initial appearance does account for causing an intrest in the opposit sex,the other factors come into play when we look for things we have in common to know if we are compatable.If you just want some girl to like your chlothes and do you,buy 500 dollar sneaks.If you want a girl to be into YOU just be who you are.PS No one ever gave me booty cause I had a nice shirt.
yea kind of.i mean you would just check out if they were decent. I wouldn't say I'd be checking out if they were the latest trend or anything like that.but I'd hope they were not a pair of geography teacher moccasins

In all honesty I check out what everyone is wearing. I don't judge people on the style of clothes they wear but I don't dig people with holes in the clothes and stains and trashy shoes.
Yes definitely. I dont want to be seen with someone who looks like a tramp. My pet hate is dirty old run down trainers yuk.
I notice, but more to make sure his clothes and shoes are clean and well cared for, regardless of how expensive they are. This indicates whether he cares about himself. Nobody likes a slob, but appearances are not everything. Someone who chooses a guy based only on what he is wearing is a shallow person who only cares for appearances, or a gold digger.
