I want to have my nostril pierced, anyone here have one?

I have a nostril piercing and i did with with a gun. It was ok, not really painful and the pain was gone in like 5 seconds. However, don't get it done with a gun. If you really want it, get it done professionally.
It looks really cute with a small diamond stud. I'm wearing a small diamond pink stud and it's looks CUTE.
As for the aftercare, I don't find it really dirty though. Nothing sticks on the stud and I believe as long as you take good care of it, it'll turn out fine/
So, if you really want it, go get it. Don't listen to what other people say. It's worth the pain when you see the lil cute stud. And who knows what'll happen when you're 50 years old. You won't even know whats gonna happen tomorrow, let alone a few decades from now. Cheers.
well, i am going to get one too on December and i am looking forward to it. Can't wait :) well, be sure that ur skin won't get affected.
my sister has done that. I love her nose rings she uses.IF your set on doing it do it. DONT listen to others.
awsome, i dont got one cuase im 14 parents wont let me get eny thing like that, there cool but umm u get like snot stuck in the piercing in side ur noss that sucks but they look cool

Small teeny diamond nose studs are pretty cute. But no bigass hula hoops, please.
I hope you think this out for a while because you might have to take it out for your jobs and career and everything. Plus, I think it leaves a scar. I don't know how old you are but I'm sure you don't want an ugly scar there when you're like 50. And I'm sure you won't wear it still when you're that age. so I hope you really think it out. If you really really want one, then go for it!
My friend has a septum ring but it looks sweeet on her. Plus, she can like turn the ring inside her nose then no one can see it at all.

Yep I have mine done, and to be honest it's excruciating (that's my opinion) and I've had loads of other rather odd piercings and none of them hurt this much.i do however think it depends how you get it done, i got mine done properly with a needle whereas my mate got hers done with a piercing gun, and she said hers was painless (i do not advice getting one done with the gun though, I've heard a few horror stories) I'm sorry if this puts you off at all, but it is a pain that abates with a few ibuprofen and it heals fairly quickly (i still have mine.and i do love it)

i have mine done! everyone is different and you never know, but if you have it done, make sure you wear an old shirt JUST IN CASE. my nose bled rediculously! not where it was pierced, just in general. he said it happens sometimes. but so much of it came out all at once, felt like water running down my face. i know that sounds gross, but, just thought i'd let you know. now my friend had hers done and she said hers bled like a tiny drop, so everyone's nose is different. also. mine didn't hurt at all. i got mine done with a needle, not a gun. the only thing that hurt was, i went to kiss my bf one night, and somehow his nose pulled it out almost all the way? lol don't ask. but it hurt like HE**! so be careful! aside from all that, i love my nose stud!=D good luck!
I had my nose pierced 20 years ago when it was not a popular thing to do. I eventually found someone who would do it for me but she did it with a piercing gun like they do ears. It took a long time to heal properly & the jeweller who made the diamond stud for it had nothing to go by so he made it rather large & it was all wrong. i persevered & still have it to this day but it was a nightmare.
Now, thankfully, nose piercing is really common and there are plenty of reputable places as well as correct jewellry for them. If you have it pierced with a needle by a place that is clean & knows what they are doing, it will heal really quickly & you shouldn't have any problems at all as long as you follow their instructions. I have lots of piercings, some that i did myself at home and others that were professionally pierced. The ones that were pierced by a professional gave me no problems at all. While i love all of the ones that i did myself, i would not recommend it for a first timer. Go to a professional and you will be very happy.
