I have a rosy completion in my face (my cheeks) & wonder if anyone knows a good makeup product to cover same?

I dont want to use heavy makeup but if anyone is in a similar position and uses a product, please let me know. thanks

Try mineral makeup. It is light but covers spots so shoudl be good. It is made from natural ingredients so is good for your skin.

puritycosmetics.co.uk is a good brand.
Stay natural and rosy. it looks lovely
I don't have roses on my face but it's very discoloured from he sun and unknown reasons. I have tried all the concealers and foundations and the one that works best for me is "SPRAY PAINT"! Liquid foundation in a spray can from Christian Dior.

Before you buy anything, ask for samples or get a mini makeover at the sales stand and wear the makeup for a few hours before you decide to buy it. It's usually very expensive and you want to be sure it's what you want before you spend too much money on it.
mabelline cover stick corrector concealer in green this corrects redness
I dot my cheeks with a green cover-up stick, and then blend it in. Then I cover it with mabelline dream-whipped moose foundation stuff that matches my skin.
Why cover up a beautiful rosy complexion.
I use Boots 17 Colour Corrector cream before I apply my foundation/powder. It evens out the skin tone, and don't worry, it doesn't stay green when you put it on! They also do a powder pearls version.
oh man! bare escentuals has the best make up. it's super light but covers great. it's wonderful at taking away red spots.
i'm same. I found best to use a comoflauge make-up under foundation. Or even camoflague on it's own with a little powder to set. Just pact on in dabs rather than rubbing as this would make it red.
My mum has broken veins on her cheeks which appear very rosey !! she uses this green stuff (Think its called pre-base) from no7 before putting her foundation on. this completely covers the red. and leaves you with a nice even colour of foundation.

Good luck and hope this helps
The best thing to use is a green foundation. Boots No 7 do one called colour calming make up base - £9.00. I It is very light and you can use it under your normal foundation. Sounds a bit weird and looks it in the tube (bright green) but try it - I am sure you will be amazed. It really cancels out the redness all day long
Use estee lauder idealist skin treatment before you moisturise every day, it smooths the skin and reduces any redness and blemishes. Then I use a good concealor and foundation but not too heavy, I like boots no 7 colour intelligent foundation.
Hi!
Mary Kay has got a new product called Even Complexion Essence. It will work wonders! It takes about 2 weeks of using it to really start seeing the results. I had a similar problem (and freckles), and wouldn't go out without lots of coverup and make-up. Now, I can go with just a powder foundation! You can check it out at www.marykay.com/vickileftwich. Also know that Mary Kay has a 100% guarantee. So even after a couple weeks you're not satisfied, you can get your money back.
I have the EXACT same problem and have my entire life. My cheeks are naturally rosy and if I get embarrassed or hot or anything like that it triples in color. Anyway, I have tried lots of little tricks and finally found one that works awesome..I use Mary Kay's concealer on my cheeks and then cover with their medium coverage foundation. A previous post mentioned the Even Complexion Essence and I'm "testing" this product to see if it helps tone down the redness but it won't be an immediate fix.
using a green tinted cream on your face before applying make up will reduce your rosy complection.
Body shop and boots do a good one.
I tend to use expensive foundations because I can check them out in the store and choose wisely. Lancome, Clinique, MAC, Laura Mercier all have excellent foundations. If you use a foundation and have rosy cheeks, you don't have to use blush. Let them glow through. However, if I'm wearing warm colors, I hide the rosy cheeks and put on a peachy blush.
Mineral Foundation is natural and healthier for your skin. Have a look at the following website, as they do many shades and they do sample pots for £1.75. I started using this product to cover my freckles and spots and it really works.

If you have cable or sky, check out the shopping channels for Sheer Cover and watch the demo, don't purchase that one though as it is very expensive.
