Freshly scented clothing while washing can be achieved by using a fabric softener such as Downey. You can buy this really cool ball that fills with Downey and releases at the right moment in the wash.
For drying, I would use a couple dryer sheets (not just one) to saturate the clothing.
While ironing, I wouldn't use anything until I was done ironing, and then spritz some fabric refresher (look in the detergent aisle). It's in a can. It's commonly next to the wrinkle reducer spray.
When packing? Take a few dryer sheets and layer clothes around those, or like one user said, use some Febreze. They have a great new mint scent that is just awesome!!

Two Bounce dryer sheets in the dryer. Then fold promtly and put away or pack right away. You could also put an unused dryer sheet in the drawer or suitcase. That should keep them fresh.

Hi, I have a routine of washing with Ariel (good stuff) & watered down fabric conditioner as this helps to keep the fabric plush for a little longer. (fabric softener is not good for some fabrics as it decreases the pile)

Place in drawers with posh/expensive or flower/fruit scented soap bar. Soap in pockets or inside shoes, handbags etc; if in wardrobe.
This works a treat and you can use the soap afterwards, just replace when you feel like a change.
