Male office wear ?
I only ever wear High end black suits and decent coloured shirts from white through to black, although tend to avoid lime and obscene pastels. Footwear is always formal and of a brown or black.
My colleauge on the other hand wears very neutral shirts and diffrent coloured suits from black through to almost cream. with varying shoes and styles to match whatever he is wearing.
We work in a fairly laid back office but must be smart at all times. Although when seeing customers ties are not required.
Which do you think is best ?
Answers:
Go with the black suit summer & winter. Its smart and enables you to wear any colour shirt.
my head hurts
Whatever you are most comfortable with, unless it affects the quality of your work.
They both sound OK - although a dark suit is more business like.
The formal black/navy suit..not really bothered about colour of shirt.. but shoes must match suit.
always gives a good impression.. my personal preference is navy suit
Right!
Black Suit, White Shirt, Gold,Pink or Red Tie
Black Shoes - laces not required nowadays!
Thats what i wear!!
I personally would not wear brown shoes with a black suit. Otherwise, I say, to each his own.
Well black is certainly more formal. I also work in a company where we need to be suited (during meetings with customers and negotiations). We generally break out the black suits only when we want to look formidable and professional.
The attire is usually more casual during ordinary work days- navy, gray, or beige suits with shirts (tie being optional).
I don't think it matters as long as they are business friendly. Why would it matter which is best?
Your style ie Black and dark suits is more office like & professional so keep doing what you are doing. Don't worry about it so much you both sound smart & its only work - its what you look like outside the office that really matters!
As long as it's smart the rest is up to you, what you feel comfortable and well dressed in.
Sorry to say this but you did ask - variety is the spice of life and if you are not restricted would say that your colleague has got it right.
My heart bleeds for you all these decisions to make who the hells interested?
both fine
