African women are so graceful and most are beautiful. Could we learn a thing about beauty and grace from them?
I hope this does not sound patronising..it's not meant to be so.
Answers:
I think we could all learn from other cultures. We are all unique and beautiful.
I have found through experience that all people who take pride in their appearance look graceful and beautiful.
You are witnessing famine and you are focusing on the beauty and pride of the women instead of the amount of death and genocide. I don't know about you.
good observation but i dont think it would work here. i for one am not going to walk around topless!
It's a very interesting point! You are very observant.
On a related note, I have heard the saying "you're never too poor to pick up your yard." In other words, if one is living in poverty, any effort to improve one's surroundings helps. The front steps of the building, if one does not have a yard.
I think we should always notice the good traits and customs exhibited by every culture and try to learn from them.
Again, VERY interesting point.
What have you been watching? The only things I have seen are saggy t*ts hanging around bellies. Maybe on programs other than the news?
Beauty and grace comes from with in, these people are suffering, but never let others show how much, If you feel good on the inside it portrays your beauty on the outside,
Every race and/or ethnic group has it's own beauty. Personally, I think anybody (other than trailer trash) who sees a camera is going to be pointed at them will do what they can to clean up or tidy up or otherwise make the most of their appearance.
And, for the record, I do not think everyone living in a mobile home is "trailer trash." But I've seen these 300 pound women in cropped tops, roots of their hair showing they're bleached blondes, cigarette hanging from their lips, complaining about this or that on TV and know that some people don't care about their appearnce whether or not a camera is turned their way.
america has for year been learn from african what is so different now.
some are beautiful and graceful and some are really not (trust me, the cameras avoid the lummier parts of africa - it's doesn't sell well). I'm sure we could learn plenty from them about not complaining about our lives when they are so much better than some peoples !
i think that some parts of africa the ppl take alot of pride in themselves.. recently i have started taking alot of extra time with my appearance, and it makes a huge difference in the type of jobs that you get and the way ppl treat you..i was shocked how ppl get treated when they are viewed as attractive.ppl give you free stuff when you go to stores and you get free food at drive thru's..it is so awesome.
We can learn something from everyone we meet.
Africans, love to look at their best. That's just something we can not explain however, even back in the day way back. we were queens and kings and remember how they use to look I guess it was just passed down its really something that can not be explained..
We are who we are..Beautiful African Queens and Kings
some are and some arent, same as the rest of the world.has nothing to do with money or race, your either gracefull or youre not!
Great observation!
We are all unique, culturally different yet beautiful - but to see it - one must be OPEN.
What ever is on the inside oozes to the outside!
I think that any woman who is secure in herself is beautiful, no matter where they're from..or how old, or even how rich or poor. But I also think that the cultures different from our own are beautiful in a way that we find fascinating and exotic. I've got a book of pictures from Time-Life (or something like that) and it's got shots of people from all over the world. I love to sit and look at it & wonder about the life-style, culture, general conditions, & what each person was thinking when the picture was snapped.
(That goes for men, women, & children too.)
