Where can i get ring settings to set my own stones in?
i have been doing a stones setting course and want to practise at home during the holiday. We haven't been shown how to make mounts so i really need rings that are ready made up and i can just set the stones in them.

go to the salvation army or store like it. they usually have old settings.
a friend of mine has a jewelry store (he repairs jewelry) and that's where he sends his apprentices to find settings to learn with.
Hockley in Birmingham is probably the best place. It is one of (if not "the" one) the main jewelry quarters in the UK.
