Why do old ladies sit with there legs wide open?

Funny you should say this but I have noticed that old ladies, when they want to attract your attention, they sometimes stick their fanny in your face.

lol, that's about the most funny and cute question I had ever heard. lol. but it's because bending their legs/knees are pretty painful. It's easier just to lie straight open =] (which i admit, sounds kind of wrong, but is tru)
Because it makes them feel young, who knows? Actually I've always wondered why myself. It's gross!!

That is a funny thing to ask. you gave me a good laugh. I have seen this also, and I think it has to do with the fact that they are old and the Hormones that they once had , that made them feminine are all gone. also, they may be in pain and just don't give a darn what people think anymore. They care more about being comfy and probally don't even take notice to the way they sit anymore since their old. But they need to!@ I'll always try to sit right when I get old.lol
i don't know maybe it's painful to sit any other way. anyway why are you looking? who cares? leave them alone

Actually it is because either varicose veins or Athritus is painful with legs bent, legs straight out exerts less force thus less pain.
& For those who think it GROSS, no one compels you to look.

Ha ha! Maybe testing us young 'uns to get a reaction. Granny does it when the vicar comes round for a cup of tea and a slice of cake, pretending to be senile and all that.
Because they are wearing an incontinence pad, which would be rather uncomfortable if they closed they re legs.
