Send a portfolio to different agencies!
Well if you are a female you send me pics.

If you are a male you send your pics to a modeling agency. They will decide if you have what it takes.
send your profolio in to different agencies
Get your headshots and body shots and everything and put together a portfolio potraying pictures that show off the best angles of you and are unique. Then send them to different agencies. ALso, look in your phone book for local modeling agencies. You could also check online and there are websites where you can make a modeling site.
get some photos together and send to some agencies. most of them charge a fee for being put on their books. look out in the papers for auditions this is the cheapest way. send your pikkies to all the womens magazines cos sometimes they like to use their own models. in your porfolio put picks of legs feet and hands as well as head and shoulder and full poses. they do not need to be professional pics.
look 4 an agency.
go to a professional photographer and get some headshots taken. try to take around 3 headshots and almost 5 full-body shots. put them together in a portfolio and schedule interviews and local modeling agencies.

hope all is going well, take care!

Good Luck
Either send in a photo to an agency or agencies, or ring and ask for an appointment to go and see them. Some agencies have set days to see potential models. Do not spend money on photographs at this point. An ordinary polaroid picture or any snap that shows a clear image is all they need to see. They will know by looking at it if you have the look. Then if they take you on they will send you to a photographer. Only then will you need the money for the photos.

Do not hand over money to an agency that tells you they will get you work but you must pay so much money up front. It doesn't work that way. Any good agency will tell you straight off if you have what it takes and if your height is right and so on. If they say no then you will not have wasted any money, but if they say yes be prepared to spend to get some photographs, which you will take with you on go-sees and when you start working you will gradually build up a portfolio of your work.

Don't be disheartened if you are told no, all that means is that you do not match whatever image some know-it-all has decided is the "face" of the moment. You could be really beautiful/handsome and they would have some other "look" in mind so don't take it personally. Good luck.
Go to them, dont wait for them to come to you, it may never happen. If you think you have what it takes (over 5'7, nice skin, confident, slim etc..) get a head shot and full length pic of yourself (doesnt need to be professional) and call up a few of the major agencies in London - Ask to make an appointment to see their "New Faces" booker, show them how great your personality is, and how versatile you can be, then leave a copy of your pics with them and see what happens. Good luck
