Why is one of my front teeth yellower than the other? and what can I do about it?
Answers:
lol my friend has this problem too. she hates taking pictures. i say just buy some whitening stuff, like the colgate stuff that you paint on your teeth, and just use it on your yellow tooth.
Coffee or smoke.
u dont brush it enough or something.floss
go to the dentist n' get i whitened or use the crest whitening the one u polish it on
Who knows why, but that can happen. Try Crest Whitestrips. One of my co-workers used them and her teeth are beautiful now.
Sonicare is very good, with Mccleans whitening toothpaste
gargle with peroxide once a week- do NOT swallow it.
they also sell "whitening kits" at the drugstore.
the porcelen is wearing out.
Well, I have that problem too.but I have a veneer that is a slightly yellow colour but it makes the rest look yellow too. I have to replace the veneer to match my white teeth so I would suggest going to your dentist and getting him to whiten the single tooth for you.
Go see dentist!
Get crest whitestrips. It will whiten your teeth and even out colour. One reason that it could be more yellow than the other is the enamel on that tooth could be weaker than the other. Just use a whitening toothpaste and either the whitestrips or go to the dentist for bleaching. If you think it could be a serious problem, ask your dentist. They could probably tell you the exact reason you're having the problem.
The yellow tooth may be more poreruss then the white one. As they are both front teeth, I doubt that it has to do with your diet. A dentist may be able to polish it to smooth it out. Always rinse your mouth out with water if you drink cola, coffee etc. Remember, never brush your teeth straight after drinking fruit juice as the acid weakens the enamel.
more likely than not its staining, if you drink a lot of tea, coffee, or fizzy drinks you can also get this staining through smoking, best bet is to brush ideally after every meal or at least in the morning and at night, and have regular check ups at the dentist
probably it is unhealthy or even dead. have you seen the dentist lately? if not, you should go.
i have a tooth, one of my canines, that got a crack in it and died, like, 25 years ago. it's still in my mouth but it is a darker color than the others.
Sometimes if you get a virus while the tooth is growing it will be yellower. If the tooth has been yellow since you got all your adult teeth this may be what happened. Ask a dentist about making just that tooth more white.
paint yellow stuff to other teeth
get it sorted at the dentist!!
buy some yellow paint and match it up at b&q
Brushing habits are affected by always using the same hand to brush your teeth with. You will consistently miss, or partly clean, the same teeth on each occasion.
as you get older teeth do change colour and can differ from one tooth to another, a porclain veener may help as this won,t do to much damage to the tooth
Is it a cap? I know that with bridges/caps they cannot bleach them, you have not told us if it is actually your own tooth?
Hi it could be that the nerve in the tooth is is damaged which causes the tooth to go yellow. The best thing is to go to the dentist or see your doctor. But i think it has something to do with the root or nerves.
stop smoking and drinking coffee
peral drops it brillant or try any smokers tooth paste although you dont smoke it'll work to
