"Everything that irritates us about others can lead us to an understanding of ourselves."?

This was said by Carl Jung, is this true?

Answers:
I suppose it ties in with "every time you point a finger, there are three pointing back at you".
i don't like Jung. and i don't think it's true (at least for me)
I think it makes sensse
No. theres just a lot of irritating people in the world.
I would say it is.

This is a lesson in humility.

A lot of wisdom can be gained from understanding this.
I suppose so, but only if you sit down and analyse yourself every day.
thats a very annoying question !!
It may make you understand yourself in a negative way. understanding ones self is not always a positive if you don't understand yourself in a positive way. in other words.. if you dislike people and think you are better then they are then you may only be hurting yourself.. because they may actually be the better person.. and you may actually be the stupid one. so your understanding of yourself may be misplaced. Try to have a better spirit.. and it may help.. judgment is not always a positive.. :)
Its VERY true
Hell yeah!
No. Ever one is made different.Taste differ, tolerance and liking differ.
