Physical attraction is usually the first thing that people go for. If you are an ugly and fat bloke like me, you have to win them over with charm and humour while in their company, they get over the image part fast enough then.
you are looking at or meeting the wrong women!! Most women are far more interested in personality and manly qualities than what you look like.

everyone has they're own idea of what is good looking and whats ugly so you may be gorgeous to one person and ugly to another. whats inside is the most important thing. it doesn't matter how attracted you are to someone if they're a bas*ard and you cant stand them you cant have a relationship.
sad to say tat everyone like to see nice things,if a gal says she nvr cares abt looks is fake,it is juz tat hw high ur expectation is..somehow i feel a guy muz have a special ability to attract gals,maybe like money,sense of humour,looks.etc
i don't think this is true of all women- i would normally ogle over men like tom cruise- my brother knows this but i have always ended up with guys who are now where near as good looking but have greater personality. The charm, humour and sensibility is what wins me over- not looks. Obviously i won't bag a minger because there has to be some attratction.. but hey!

Humans look for attractiveness in the opposite sex because it all leads to reproducing. Let me explain. Our core purpose in life is to procreate. When people look for something attractive in the opposite sex, they are actually thinking, "he looks strong and so he will pass the strength onto the baby". OK, they aren't thinking that actually but it's all subconscious. When a man looks for a women with large breasts, believe it or not, its because their subconscious believes that the mother will produce good nourishment for the offspring.
Every women, just as every man, has their "type". And some prefer attractiveness, strength but many go for intelligence, humour, etc. Trust me, the women you seem to know are just not your type, nor you theirs. Trust me, you will find your type and she will find you.
But advice from a women? Women like men who are confident--but not arrogant--and are comfortable with themselves. If you don't believe yourself ugly, then they won't either. It sounds completely mad, but it's true. When you are happy, you glow. And that glow is like a signal sent out to all the females. They will come flocking like moths to a lamp.
