What will ease the pain of a reaction to hair removal cream?
I used veet hair removal cream and have taken a bad skin reaction to it. Ive used it before with no problem so im not sure why i reacted this time. Does anyone know anything that would ease the pain of it?

The beauty of deplitary cream is that it's pain-free. You shouldn't be feeling any pain when applying it. If you've used it before and received a reaction recently, there could be 2 reasons:
1) Faulty product (in which case contact the manufacturers)
2) Changes to your body that could have increased sensitivity/caused a reaction
In either case, I would see a doctor for reassurance and advice.
Other hair-removal methods include: wet shaving, wax strips, epilator and a body buffers. Again your doctor should advice you on the appropriate method based on your skin assessment.
Avoid anything with chemicals in as this might make it worse. I'd run a flannel under a tap until ice cold and use as a compress.
Aloe and an astringent, such as witch hazel or Sea Breeze. Use the Aloe first.
Try calamine lotion !
Good luck !
try putting ur fingers in the crack of a door and slamming it,u will completely forget about the pain of waxing ur beaver.
aloe vera gel is natural and contains no chemicals - it's very soothing
Try Camoline lotion (I'm sure I have spelt it wrong) you can buy it in boots, its a milky lotion, it will take the itch and burn away.
Applying natural yoghurt is a good way to cool any inflamation. I used it when i had a bad sunburn. Very soothing.
As horrid as it sounds, have a bath using a cup of vinegar. It will sting but it will soothe your problem! Good luck.
Try Witchhazel gel available from Boots - very soothing, no smell
Aloe Vera gelly from the plant itself and maybe an antihistamine.
Buy a bottle of pure lavender oil and rub it on either neat or mix with a little aqueous cream. It will really help your skin, good for burns and sunburn too. You can put a few drops in the bath as well.
