Hiya, I'm a hairdresser, this is a common problem with hair that's your length, my advice is to have a couple of inches off and ask your stylist to cut in some low under layers, this will help maintain the shape and encourage the hair to sit straight. If your not into losing a couple of inches, then try using L'Oreal hot n straight when straightening and lightly spray some Ellnet hairspray along the edges until your hair reaches the correct length to sit naturally..
curl it under with a barrel iron
Go to your hairdresser when it's really flicky and ank them if they can do anything about it. They may be able to layer it to stop it (or at least make the effect less pronounced).
Maybe its the way it sits on your shoulders, so it flicks out. See what happens if you let it grow a bit longer.
You have to train it not to do this. It takes a while to train it. I would suggest flat ironing it towards your face at the bottom (curling it somewhat). Spray hairspray onto the flat iron before you do this. Eventually it will train. I have one side that comes in towards my face and the other side that goes out. You just have to work with it a lot.
hairspray. just a bit, like a light highspray medium hold and brush it a bit after u spray it (when its dried ofcourse)
Cut it off.all of it
when you straighten your hair, use a comb and slightly straighten it so you bring the hair under. that way there will be less chance of your hair flicking out. if also fix it with some strong hold hairspray, just a little at the bottom. maybe that will help you??
Use a product called Straight8, then blow dry on low setting. You shouldn't have any more problems. It is really great for straightening curly hair without the frizz.
You need some good serum girl! put a little dab on your hair after blowdrying.work it through to the ends, but only a tiny amount or it will end up looking greasy and then straighten over.with good straigtners.do u have GHD? Its the only answer in life.

Unfortunately, you're at a bad length. Because your hair is shoulder length it will inevitably flip out at the bottom as it is taking on the shape of your traps and shoulders. If you can just bear with it until it gets long enough to break the shoulders it will stop flipping out on the bottom Or if you are open to it, have it cut a bit shorter as that will also eliminate the problem.

Also, weather you choose to grow it longer or take some of the length off make sure that you ask your stylist to "undercut" your hair or "bevel the ends" so that it will cup under and not flip out.
go over the ends with a flat iron after blowdrying it. dont flat iron the roots or middle though. you want to keep some body and bounce :)
use a product like loreal studio line hot straight. i use it when i straighten my hair and it helps keep my ends straight.
