you know long time ago my mother us ta do us girls hair, that's the way we grew up ,till we started doing our own,when we went to get our hair done {any where} we left there aether mad, or didn't like it but had to wear it anyway like it was mom doing it. so the best thing i think is to do your hair yourself.be leave me you will be more pleas try it

go to a salon that is trained in afro-carribean hair as they will do alot of these treatments, please dont do it yourself, it might be a disaster. they're are lots of different strengths and applications so you need professional advice
make sure you go to a hairdresser's that has done it before. I had it done a few years back and ended up with chemical burns through my scalp and it runined my hair. It took ages to get it back into good condition.
