When and how would you use an effleurage stroke in massage?
Answers:
just wen there about to ***
Effleurage consists of a variety of stroking movements, usually carried out with the whole palm of the hand and fingers, which may be used with varying pressure according to the purpose and stage reached during the massage.
It is always used at the start of massage, and should be carried out in a rhythmical and relaxed manner starting with light touch at the start of a session and building up to deeper pressure for increased circulation and stretching of tissues later in the massage.
Right lets see what i remember. Effleurage is a stroking movement not too deep in pressure. It is used to warm up the skin in preparation for deeper massage. There for it is used to begin a session (going straight into deep massage on cold muscles isn't a good idea) and is also a useful move to link moves making the massage more flowing
well first you woulduse it to warm the area up at the start and at the end as your finishing move. emm how to do it well it depends on the are if on the legs use your both hands to move up the leg toward the groin area and len let them slide in towards the groin but dn't go in too far unless you want to and ur clients willing HAHAHA. anyway always move towards the lymphnodes
