How do you measure your bra size?

can someone explain in the easiest way possible.
i tried some of those calculators you find on the internet but they come up really weird sizes that would no way fit

Answers:
Noone has told you correctly, so I'll answer this question again-

Take a tape measure and measure just under your bust.
(keep your bra on)
Use inches.
Whatever number you come up with there, add 4 inches- this is your back size.
ie You measure 28, you are a 32, you measure 31 you're most likely a 36, but maybe a 34!
Measure around where your nipples are, each inch above your back size is a cup size.
ie 1" bigger, you're an A, 5" bigger you're an E.

This isn't rocket science, nor is it an exact science, having run a lingerie shop for 6 years I know what I'm talking about, and the tape-measure can lie!!
So can M&S staff, I got alot of girls in wearing the wrong size because thats what M&S told them they were!
Go to as up market a shop as you can find to get fitted, you may take different sizes in different makes, eg Elle McPherson's range is TINY! Always try them on.
you pussycat
the easiest way is that go on to the clothing shop and try some..
Let me have a feel, I'll let you know (such a perv) try selfridges or a decent shop that can measure them properly
go to victoria secrets they will do it for you so you don't mess it up
i will visit you with a tape measure if you like.. just say when.
Ah dont worry about "sizes" and all that mumbo jumbo.Come over to mine+we'll have your all measured up by the morning!.
And i wont charge you tooo much either.Im a gentleman like:)
iT WOULD BE BEST IF I COME ROUND TO DO A PERSONAL FITTING FOR YOU LOL
Go To Marks & Spencer they'll sort u out
u cannot fix one size..it is different from one company to another.its always trial and error method..try them and choose the best.
lots of shops do it 4 u!
go ask your mother, or your sister, or a friend, and her mother, if you dont have those, go to a sho, find a nice young looking assistant, who will likely understand and not mak you feel stupid, and get her to measure you.
measure around your body under your breats for the number i.e. 36 and then aound your breast. each extra inch is one cup size. so if under ur breasts is 36 and around is 38, ur a 36 b and so on..
If you go to debenhams they will measure you properly but remember the size changes slightly during the month
You measure underneath first in inches. This gives you your first size ie. 34. Then you measure around the fullest part in inches. The difference between the first and second sizes tells you your cup size. If it's the same ie. 34 and 34 you are an A cup. If its 34 and 35 you are a B cup. And so on.
Its simple, ask your intimate friend, he/she could very well
go to good femina store .they wil do it for u.
Measure around just under bust - that is your bra back size number in inches 32/34/36 etc. Its meant to fit quite tight - all the weight should be on this not on your bra straps - you can get backache from that.

Cup size is determined by looking at the cups in your back size and trying on all the ones that look like you will fill the cup up - there should be NO overspill - try bras on with a tight fitting T shirt to ensure a smooth line and no bumps hanging out.

Different bras have different cups so you just have to try and know what looks/feels best.

Never go to a chain to get a bra fitting - they are only ever going to offer their bras - go to a quality store like Rigby & Peller.

Also you need to go through this everytime you buy a bra - bust size alters and different bras fit differently - fit is everything
This is by far the most accurate.

Measure around the chest area which is just above your breasts and below your armpits. If this number is odd, round it up or down to the nearest even number. Take a note of this, it will be your band size.

Then measure around the fullest part of your bust. Take a note of this.

Then find the difference in inches between your band size and your bust measurement. This will be your cup size, below I have listed what the inch difference would be for different cup sizes:

0 inch difference - AA
1 inch difference - A
2 inch difference - B
3 inch difference - C
4 inch difference - D
5 inch difference - DD

So for example if your band size was 34 inches and your bust measurement was 38 inches, you would be a 34D. If your band size was 32 inches and your bust measurement was 35 inches, you would be a 32C.

I was wearing the wrong bra size for years and until I finally got measured properly. The standard bra fitting guides don't take into account that women are all different shapes and sizes!

There are step-by-step instructions w/ diagrams to help you at http://shop.nordstrom.com/c/2384919/0~23. or go to http://www.nordstroms.com and in the search bar type "bra guide" it will give you a list of links one of them will be "bra fit and measuring tips"
Finding Your Bra Size

1. Band Size; Measure directly underneath your bust. If the measurement is an even number add 4 inches. If it is an odd number add 5 inches.

Example: If you measure 32", your band size is 36. If you measure 33" your band size is 38.

2. Bust Size: Measure across your breast at the fullest point.

3. Cup Size = (Bust Size) - (Band Size)

Up to 3" = C cup; 4" = D cup; 5" = DD cup

Example: If your Bust Size is 42" and your Band Size is 38" You're a D cup.
use a tape measure and put it around your chest and that's the number size, the cup size is fom a to ff.
ask your boy friend, he knows the size, or you measure the circumference of his mouth during sucking!
Victoria Secrets. They will help you. I took my daughter there and she felt comfortable with the lady.
go to a bra shop they will do for you for nothing. i wouldn't advise la senza though as i went their to get measured once and they told be i was still a 34 c then i went somewhere else on the same day and got told i was 34d.
