If you use fake tan before you go on holiday do you think you would still tan the same?

You'll still tan the "same," but you'll still have an unnatural splotchy yellowish-orange hue, and leave funny brownish stains on your bikini bottom.

You'll still be able to tan as normal, because fake tans don't provide any UVA or UVB protection, so they won't actually protect your skin from the sun's rays.
As a professional tanner,JK, if u tan with uv lights then yes you would tan still outside, but if you use a spray or mystic tan you wont. i know from experience. Just use the bed tans, its practically like the sun, but faster and only one or two uv's depending on where you go..

yes, as self tan is just a moisturiser with a tanning ingredient in it. you will need to use a factor sun cream to prevent burning sun stroke and possbly skin cancer. the only diff is that you will have a base to start with, and look better in a swimsuit at the begining of your hol than you would without it. (milk bottle white is NOT a good look.)
surely but just to make sure take some fake tan with you on ya holiday incase it comes off in someplaces and some not!
probably not as you have stuff in your skin that (might) interfear with the tan process
but if your really curious why not try it your own scientific experiment:
1) tan with fake sun tan (note appearance)
2) wait for it to fade
3) re suntan (w/o) (note appearance)
4) compare notes

yes you will ,but you have to be carefull you dont burn because you look tanned already ,so be careful just as you would without a tan have a nice holiday,,
