I am starting up a new e-commerce site and would like all my packaging to be eco friendly.Where can I buy re-cycled cardboard boxes from?

depends on what you're sending, what size you need. If you don't care about the size you can get old boxes from your nearest grocery store, pharmacy, etc. However people who buy from you already are paying you the shipping and handling so that their items arrive clean and protected. Are you trying to even make out more (in money) from your customers? Fine, then remember that if you get free boxes to reduce the handling fee you charge them.
you could approve supermarkets and ask if you can recycle their boxes, approach other shops too.
