Living in Aberdeen?

I am currently working in India. I have an onsite opportunity to work in Aberdeen. It may be for a period of 1 Year. Can I stay in Aberdeen with my wife and 3 years old Kid? I am from South India. I may get 1000 GBP per month with service apartment apart from my Indian Salary. How much do I require to live with my family? Or is it better to go alone?

I would think that you could live comfortably on £500 or £600 a month if you are getting accomodation for free.weekly shopping for a small family probably about £100 a week.many people live on a lot less and have to pay for accommodation.
ok Aberdeen is well Aberdeen. not much of an indian life ther ei reckon.. especially if your with wife and kids.

one thing u ahve to remember is that 1000 pounds is ok to have however.if the companysi paying for apartment and bils its ok. but fi ur paying the bills not so much.even if they pay the bill. living in UK is that much more expensive.. and your quality of life style will not be that much better. if your relaly set to come here in uk then come byurself first figure out the place thne make a move.. but i personally woudl not go to aberdeen. then agian i am not indian.. (have bene to india though)
