Isn't it confusing?

The chap in the next allotment but one, has his lunch in the cafe at midday, then goes back at 5 o'clock for an all-day breakfast. We say he's having his tea because breakfast means Break Fast and he's done that by having had his lunch. If cafes are going to mess about like this we won't know where we are, will we?

Answers:
I know what you mean, people say I'm having my tea, when they really mean their having dinner. Originally tea time was around 4 o'clock which consisted of cucumber sandwiches and cakes.
The cafe owners' are just messing with our heads and should stop breakfast at around 11.00.
yes.
