How important is job satisfaction to you and would you stick at something even though it made you miserable?

I'm lucky - I work in a library and love it to bits, this is the first time I have felt truly happy at work!

Basically,I maintain,install and commission a range of office equipment.

I have worked all over South Africa,Johannesburg,Cape Town,London,and now home counties.I have been doing it all my working life and get immense satisfaction from driving to different places every day of my life and getting into a wide variety of places.
One minute I am in a normal office ,the next I am in a bank,the next I am in a museum,hospital,school,miltary base,mansion,home,leisure center,shop,you name it.
Every imagininable place,well most,have office machines.
I have met thousands of people,some nice,some pricks,some who have become friends.A very diverse customer base,but satisfying indeed.I go in,do my job,and am back on the road,off to my next environment.Every day is a new adventure and experience,doing something I enjoy,pure job satisfacion.
I am an executive, I enjoy my job. If I didn't like it I would quit as job satisfaction is very important to me. We spend most of our lives working so I couldn't tolerate not being happy in my work environment.
