Truth is..it doesn't need one, it's just 'jobs for the boys'!
To monitor trends on the market and indeed to find new markets for the companies products.
Great help for managerial decisions on every level.
To inform and be informed about competetive products and companies.
Basically a tool for planning future company strategy according to the information delivered/collected by the system.
