What positions can you get with the AAT Foundation and 2 years in Accounts Payable?
Answers:
AAT foundation is just the basics really, you need to do the full 3 years and become an aat technician to be able to apply for accountant or assistant accountant positions, but most companies will want experience as an accountant before they hire you, so you might be best applying for positions as a trainee accountant as some companies will hire you since you are studying, and will also pay for your study fees.
Keep studying - I'm AAT qualified, and its soo easy to pass, so long as you study hard.
good luck
depending on how good you are with handling AP stuff, you could probably progress to accounts assistant. There's probably nothing stopping you from becoming a financial accountant in a small company if you prove that you can do the job.
You will need to have a good understanding of how to put a set of accounts together (from source document) if you want to be the financial accountant.
If you are really keen on the accounting side, continue studying and do the ACCA or ACA. It's real hard work but once you qualify, you will get your reward.
