Is it possible to loan or mortgage from an American Lender?
Can I borrow money from a lender based in the US for example purchasing a house here in the UK, if you are not an American citizen?
Answers:
Yes you can but if the mortgage is in dollars and your income is in pounds you run the risk of exchange rate changes. If your repayments today are $180 a month, that will cost you £100 plus bank transfer fees. But if the pound goes down to £1 = $1.50, you will be paying £120 a month. You need a strong stomach to take this risk.
you could try bill gates. he has a few quid.
You could, some morgage lender in here has based on US interest rate, but be carefull as you will have exchange rate different all the time.
